The logic behind that being that the Chinese Character for Crisis is comprised of two separate Chinese characters: Danger and Opportunity. With this one must always assume that for every problem, for every down turn, for every unexpected stumble, there is an opportunity to be gained here. According to this article, people have long been misinformed of the characters meaning.

Well, even that isn’t so. The message that it tries to convey is that one of the most important characteristic needed in business (or in life), is a positive mental attitude. The belief that one can sally forth unscathed through all life’s troubles. There is a difference however with confidence and arrogance. Feel confident after knowing that you have done all that is possible to the best of your abilities. Other than that, that is just arrogance and you plainly throwing your dice against the wind.
